Bugoy Drilon
Bugoy Drilon is a Filipino singer in Pop, Ballad, Soul and Classical genres. From a simple canteen janitor, he reached his dreams as he won the second placer of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2. Among the factors that influenced his musical styles are the likes of Guy Sebastian, Brian McKnight and Boyz II Men.
Jay Bogayon was born on January 1, 1990, a native from Ocampo, Camarines Sur, Philippines. Initially, he belongs to one of the families deprived from any riches of the world. His father is a farmer and he is dubbed as “The Farmer’s Son”.
Like any normal children, Bugoy dreamt of finishing studies.
With his extraordinary and unique vocals, Jay Bogayan now named Bugoy Drilon, went on to learn inside the Pinoy Dream Academy, a school for those hopefuls with exceptional singing prowess. Making it to the finals, Bugoy won the second rank, next to the PDA’s grand champion, Laarni Lozada. Bugoy is really a new OPm seekers, breaks the heart heart of every filipinos with his heart warming songs "paano na kaya" (his first solo) after winning as 2ND runner up in a T.V. show in ABS-CBN(PDA)PINOY DREAN ACADEMY, WHICH ALSO A MOVIE SOUNDTRACK OF KIMERALD MOVIE "PAANO NA KAYA". His first album is under Star Records titled "paano na kaya". There is no doubt that a filipino artist is word class........I salute every filipino artist.
