Miss Venezuela Won the Miss World 2011 crown

Miss Venezuela Ivian Sarcos a 22 year old was crowned as the winner of the Miss World 2011 on Nov. 6 in London, United Kingdom. Her crown was handed over by last year's winner Miss World 2010, Alexandra Mills, who competed for the United States.

Almost 100 woman competed for the crown but this Venezuelean beauty stands out and hailed as the Miss World 2011 Title holder. The runner-up was Miss Philippines, Gwendoline Ruais, and Miss Puerto Rico, Amanda Perez, claimed third place. Next year's pageant will take place at Ordos in Inner Mongolia, China.

Billions from around the world tuned into see her crowned the winner while the runners up prizes went to Miss Philippines and Miss Puerto Rico. Some 113 beauty queens from Albania to Zimbabwe took their place on the stage, with the show being broadcast live to an estimated audience of more than one billion viewers in 150 countries.
