Miss International 2011 - Miss Ecuador María Fernanda Cornejo

The 51st edition of the Miss International beauty pageant took place on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the Sichuan Opera Theatre, in Chengdu, China. Elizabeth Mosquera of Venezuela crowned her successor Miss Equador at the final event. Miss International 2011 purpose and focus of this year’s events is to raise funds to send from Chengdu, China to Japan to support the victims of the great earthquake followed by tsunami that struck Japan last March 2011.

The Philippines was very happy because their very own Diane Necio of Philippines won the People's Choice Award which means she is automatically joined the top 15.
