Antonio Margarito Montiel, is a 33 year old Mexican Professional boxer born March 18, 1978 in Tijuana, Baja California. Margarito is a former World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF), and World Boxing Organization (WBO) Welterweight champion. His nicknamed “El Tornado de Tijuana”, was name because of his aggressive fighting style and his iron chin. He is currently trained by former IBF Super Featherweight Champion Roberto García. Antonio Margarito is also managing IBF Lightweight Champion Miguel Vazquez.

Antonio Margarito had so many fights against famous boxer from all over the world and that will include Manny Pacquiao, Oscar Dela Hoya, Joshua Clottey and many more. Last September 11, 2003, at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, for Santos' WBO world Jr. Middleweight title, Margarito . fights against Daniel Santos in a rematch. On April 2005, Margarito retained his WBO world Welterweight title against another Puerto Rican boxer, undefeated world class puncher Kermit Cintron, dropping him four times on his way to a fifth round knockout. After almost a ten months layoff, Margarito returned to the boxing ring on February 18, 2006, retaining his title with a first round knockout of Jaime Manuel Gomez. On December 2, 2006, Margarito defeated future champion Joshua Clottey by a twelve round unanimous decision. On July 14, 2007, Margarito lost a unanimous 12 round decision to the undefeated challenger Paul Williams, losing his WBO belt. On April 12, 2008, Margarito engaged in a rematch with Cintron, who had won the IBF welterweight title belt following his loss to Margarito in 2005.
